Blending Fibre Art with Cloth Accessories

My work is informed by rescaling tailoring methods & 3D cutting

to redefine both ‘cloth-based accessories’ and ‘off the body’ artworks.

Inspired by ‘storytelling’  from folklore calendar customs

from the British timeline’

Employing tailored cutting techniques in natural cloth,

concentric layers over stacked wooden frames

and the origins and purposes of men's cloth accessories

from the 11th to the 20th century.
